More detail on this person: Funeral services for Mr. Buck T. Allen, 70, of New London, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with Rev Romnie Scott and Rev. B.J. Hunt officiating. Military graveside honors will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.

Family will receive friends one hour before service time, Monday, June 30 at the funeral home.

Mr. Allen passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler. He was born Oct. 3, 1943 in Houston to the late Charles A. and Lorene (Crow) Allen. Buck served in the U.S. Army, and retired as a CW 4 U.S. Army Pilot.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Bennett; father-in-law, Leland Murphy; and brother-in-law, Leland Isaac "Ikey" Murphy.

Survivors include: his wife of 49 years, Pamela Murphy Allen; mother-in-law, Mertie Murphy of New London; children, Tresa Courte and husband Anthony of Tyler, Dwayne Allen and wife Tammy of Malakoff, and Shanan Sanchez and husband Israel of New London; brothers, Mike Allen, Billy Ray Allen, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Bennett, all of Henderson; sister, Peggy Gentry and husband Barney of Houston; six grandchildren, Teylor and Colton Allen, Jazmine and Dominic Sanchez, and Gavon and Gage Courte; family, Selwyn Jones and husband Tommy, Charlotte Krempa and husband Joe, Judy Murphy-Gaudet, Randy Murphy and wife Pam, Vicki Gerhardt and husband Rusty, Terri O'Neal and husband Lee Roy; and his beloved, Babe; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Colton Allen, Israel Sanchez, Anthony Courte, Charlie Clark, Josh Reese, and Mark McClelland.
