More detail on this person: Obit = It is with regret that I must inform you of the passing of Jimmy Atkinson Jr., HMM-361, on December 30, 2006. His wife Karen called to let me know the bad news. Submitted by Norm Whitbeck. Copied from the Spring 2007 Pop A Smoke. There was a full-page story on Jimmy in this issue written by Sonny Vergara.

I was a MARCAD (Marine Aviation Cadet) with Jimmy. Jimmy flew UH-34s in Vietnam on the first tour and became a fighter pilot after that tour. He returned to Vietnam flying A-4 Skyhawk. After he left the USMC, he spent 20 years delivering mail for the U.S. Postal Service in St. Petersburg. From: Sonny Vergara
