More detail on this person: Arink, LtC William "Bill", US Army (Ret) (8/16/1930 8/17/2011), Bill succumbed to lung cancer after a 3 year battle. He was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, died in Lagarto TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, a son and a daughter. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Patricia (Trish) Arink, six children and eight grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army for twenty-five years and completed his education after service with duel Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Technical Management. He worked in the Aerospace Industry and was involved in the design, manufacture and repair of the Harpoon and Cruise Missiles. Services: A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 9:00am at 115 Mimosa Ln, Ballwin, MO 63011. He donated his body to the Texas A&M School of Medicine.
