More detail on this person: Mr. Jeff Demming Alley, Jr., age 64, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday (February 15, 2011) at Presbyterian Hospital - Matthews.

Mr. Alley was born on June 26, 1946, in Nashville, Tennessee, a son of the late Jeff Demming Alley Sr. and Margaret Irene Lawson Alley.

He was a highly decorated retired Army Veteran with 22 1/2 years of service, Safety Officer, AH-1 and C-12 Pilot.

After retiring from the military, he served as Safety Director for a large rental equipment company. After retiring as Safety Director, he went on to start his own safety consultant business which he operated along with his wife for 5 years.

Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Ann Householder Alley of Monroe, North Carolina; a daughter, Jennyl Alley of Monroe, North Carolina ; a son, Kevin Alley and wife Dainne Alley of Rock Hill, South Carolina; and granddaughter, Mia Demming Alley of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
