More detail on this person: JAMES CLAIBORNE ALLRED, II died on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was the beloved husband for 32 years of Debbie and the adored father of Juli and Lara. Jim was born in Erwin, TN in 1946 to Ruth and L.H. Allred. He graduated with a B.A. in Speech and Drama from East Tennessee State University. He served as an officer in the US Marine Corps from 1968 until 1979. His service included a tour as a Medivac pilot in Vietnam. He received his law degree from Catholic University in 1982 and had been with the law firm, Allred, Bacon, Halfhill and Young since 1996. Funeral arrangements will be through FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA, 703-425-9702. in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
