More detail on this person: Mark Eugene Auer, 83, of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Adolph Auer and Eleanora Luecke Auer. After graduating from South Whitley High School in 1957, Mark went on to join the Army. Mark was a helicopter pilot, flight instructor at Fort Wolters, and later became an industrial mechanic. He will be remembered for being a devout member of Trinity Lutheran Church. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and hand made projects. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanella Auer, brothers, Robert F. and Glenn A. Auer, sister-in-law, Sharon Auer, brother-in-law, Daniel Hill, and daughter-in-law Alissa Auer. Mark is survived by his children, Mark E. Auer, Jr., Deidra Ritter and husband Randy, and Bryan Anthony Auer; grandchildren, Logan Duane Ritter and wife Heather, Colton Chase Ritter and wife Baley, and Christopher Charles Cyr as well as his great-grandchildren, Taylor-Rae Nicole and Carson Duane. A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 30, 2021at Trinity Lutheran Church in Weatherford, with interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
