More detail on this person: Robert W Adamson
served with "A" Co., 25th Avn Bn, 25th Inf Div
(Little Bears) in Cu Chi, RVN from August 66 to
August 67. I served in the same unit with him but
never got to know him very well. Bob was a quiet

We both graduated with WORWAC Class 66-9.
I heard rumors that he was assigned to Ft. Eustis,
VA either as a test pilot or to become a test
pilot after his DEROS in '67 but I can't confirm
any of that.
From: Chris Jensen
My father left Ft. Eustis VA when I was 6. (1972).
Stationed in Tomball TX. After being wriffed back
to WO1, he left service and died after being hit
by a Trailways Bus in Jacksonville FL in 1981.
Survived by 3 sons: Robert W Adamson IV,
Richard E Adamson, & Raymond S Adamson. I
didn't know much about my father since I was
young when he died. Would appreciate any info
that anyone may have on his military career in
Vietnam. He became mentally ill around 1975 and
don't know much of his service history. I would
like some service history if you know it.
My father died on July 12 1981. Buried at
Hillcrest cemetery in Haughton Louisiana.
