More detail on this person: 101 ABN in Kentucky. Aircraft crashed in a windstorm less than 1
mile from the airfield. Pilots (Group & BN Safety Officers) tried to beat a thunderstorm flying back
to Campbell AAF. Aircraft was found at first light the next day, with the only recognizable feature
being the tail boom sticking straight up out of the ground. This information was last updated 05/18/2016

Additional information: I was one of the pilots that searched for Jeff that night. They were
actually outbound from CAAF to retrieve LTC T G Allen from the field during a Bn Exercise. ( I
don't have direct knowledge of that fact, but they were on standby at CAAF in support of Bn Staff
during the exercise) There was a line of severe thunderstorms in the area that forced them down.
