More detail on this person: In the early '80's I served with a Lee Asselin in St. Louis. We were
both assistant program managers (APM) on the AHIP Program which did the R&D which produced the
OH-58D Scout aircraft. He was the APM for Programs and I was the APM for R&D, Test & Evaluation.
Around 1985 he was going to retire and go to work for McDonnel Douglas in Calif., but while out
there looking for a home became sick and was diagnosed with cancer. He stayed on active duty and
returned to the D.C. area to be treated. I visited him once before he died.
