More detail on this person: Raymond Lawrence Breeding MARCH 3, 1939 - NOVEMBER 22, 2020 Raymond Lawrence Breeding was born March 3,1939 in La Grange, Texas to his parents Mr. Fidelus Dale and Mrs. Ethel Louise Breeding. He became a Christian at an early age and united with Ebenezer Baptist Church in La Grange, Texas . He attended Randolph Senior High School and graduated in the class of 1957. He joined the United States Air Force shortly after graduation and served tours of duty during the Vietnam War, becoming a career soldier. He served twenty-two years in the air force and rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel. He graduated from Canbourne University with a master's degree in criminal justice. After his military service Raymond moved to the Houston, Texas area and became the first African American elected constable in Fort Bend County. He spent his life in law enforcement. Raymond Breeding married Mary Moore and moved to Georgia in 2006. He continued to serve in his local church, Grace Baptist Church of Powder Springs, Georgia where he sang in the choir. He assisted the Douglas County Senior Services in Woodie Fite and the Meals - On -Wheels program. He loved his family and serving the community . He was a member of the American Legion of Powder Springs, Georgia and he loved supporting the oratorical contests and scholarship programs sponsored by the group. Raymond Breeding served with the Alabama Service Corps as a public relations and recruiting officer. In his office in Heflin, Alabama, Mr. Breeding assisted veterans in the community during natural disasters. Raymond Breeding was preceded in death by his parents , Fidelus Breeding and Ethel Breeding : his brother Edward Earl Breeding and sister-in- law Corine Jefferies; his previous wives, Virge Grant, Linda Janes, and Debbie Marlitt. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Tracy Breeding and daughter-in-law Jeane Breeding: son Stefen Breeding and daughter-in-law Heidi Breeding: daughter Angela Breeding: his daughter Crystal Marlitt; son Michael Marlitt; Phillip Glenn, son Frederick Glenn, and daughter -n-law Sarah Glenn; grandchildren Mahailya Kinard, Destiny Ndwiwe, Alana Marlitt; Anniston Breeding, Bryson Breeding, and Braxton Breeding; Oaklyn Brian Glenn; his nephew Dr. Kevin Kendall, niece Ruth Kendall, his niece Doretta Breeding , and great niece Kisseyme Kendall. Special friends Pauline Moore, Thomas Moore, Claudine Marshall, Jeannine McWhorter, Gwen Jackson, Melvin East, Leola Dockery, numerous cousins, and other friends.
