More detail on this person: Walter Bannerman, 52, of Dunwoody, GA died on August 18, 2001. Born in Rochester, NY, he was a Vietnam Veteran, and lived in Akron, Ohio and the Chicago area for several years prior to relocating in Atlanta in 1992. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julia, sisters, Nancy Serra of Myrtle Beach and Jane Dunham (Thomas) of Rochester, and six nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 on Wednesday. A private family memorial service is planned.
