More detail on this person: "Jack Died" - that is what Jack wanted me to say. Jack fought his last battle and took his last flight at 2:16 am on Saturday, February 25, 2023 while in Hospice Care at home. His children - Ellen, John and Molly - and I were at his side, and he had a very peaceful death. He left his home covered in the flag of the country he loved and served. Funeral plans will not be confirmed until tomorrow - February 27th - but it looks like everything is falling into place for a Visitation on Friday, March 3 and Funeral Mass followed by burial with Military Honors (provided by the American Legion), on Saturday, March 4. Everything will be here in Western Loudoun County, Virginia - Leesburg, Purcellville and Lovettsville. I will send details when they are firm. Jack loved and respected each of his "Blue Ghosts" and was proud to serve with you. Thank you for the respect you always showed him. God Bless America!
