More detail on this person: Col. Richard John Blanc, 64, of Kaneohe, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, died Tuesday at home. He also headed the Hawaii Golf Association Course Rating Committee and was founder and president of Eagle Eye Video Production Co. A Marine aviator, Blanc won 34 Air Medals and the Silver Star. Survived by wife Aileen B.; son Richard Jr.; brother Fred. Services: 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii Chapel. Burial: National Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Donations suggested to Castle Medical Center, 640 Ulukahiki, Kaneohe, HI 96734.
