More detail on this person: My dad was born May 2, 1943. He was in the hospital suffering from heart and lung issues and was on a respirator during his last days. He had numerous heart "events" during this time and was getting progressively weaker. My mother eventually came to the agonizing decision to sign a "do not resuscitate" and another heart attack took his life a few days later (making a very long story short). Extremely sad, needless to say, but most deaths are. He passed 3 1/2 yrs ago now and we miss him all the time. He really was a great guy and a great dad. There were topics we were both mutually interested in, such as finances that I cannot easily discuss with others and he gave great advice on that subject and others. He loved his country and his fellow man. I miss him all the time.
