More detail on this person: I am the brother of William Bauer who flew with the 192 AHC and also the 281st out of Nha Trang. I also flew with the 183rd RAC out of Nha Trang. I don't know if you knew however my brother passed away July 10th 2008 unexpectedly at home that morning after his daily run. He was in what everyone thought excellent health. At any rate he retired after 26 years as a Full Colonel and was buried at Arlington Cemetery with full military honors on September 2nd 2008. We really miss him and just thought I would pass the information on to the unit he served with.

From: Jay G. Bauer

Burial information: Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA
