More detail on this person: BAUER, COL. JAMES "JIM" FRANCIS, 62, of Valrico, died Thursday (April 27, 2006). Born in Alton, Ill., he lived in Valrico for the past six years, coming from Panama. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Buckhorn Golfers Club and the Veterans Affairs Committee. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two sons, Michael and Brian; three daughters, Lisa Young, Amy Desouza and Tracy Kennedy; a sister, Barbara Stone; and 12 grandchildren. Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview.
