More detail on this person: Major Harold Boyd died at the age of 82 at the Diversicare of Dover. He was one of 12 siblings. He was a retired Army Officer after a 20 year career. He was a Helicopter Pilot and fixed Winged Aircraft. He served in Vietnam, Germany, and Korea. He graduated from Stewart County High School and the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He continued his Pilot Career after the military service, with Aircraft Services out of Salina, Kansas, and Blue Beacon out of Salina, Kansas, and Air Midwest out of Wichita, Kansas, and Mesa Airlines out of Farmington, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents Patti and Frank Boyd, a sister Margie Batton, and Two Brothers-Howard Boyd and Dale Boyd. He is survived by: His wife Shirley Boyd of Dover, Tennessee, Two Daughters-Tina Graham and Lauri Boyd, and a son David Boyd, Five Grandchildren, Three Brothers-Perrie Boyd, Donnie Boyd, and Robert Boyd, and Five Sisters-Lodema Crutcher, Frances Finley, Ruth Grimes, Faye Abercrombie, and Mary Boyd.
