Captain Dennis "Skip" Brian Bailey, born March 24, 1943 in Havre, Montana to George W. Bailey and Valerie Novak passed away July 18, 2012 in a battle with cancer. Skip was a highly decorated, 2-tour veteran of the Vietnam War, including recipient of the bronze and silver stars. He was a Special Forces Green Beret/Airborne Ranger and helicopter pilot.

During Skip's life he was also an Eagle and Explorer scout, ski and dance instructor, woodcarver, carpenter, furniture maker, piano player, artist, stand-up-comedian, inventor, baker, chef, entrepreneur, and businessman. He was a resident of New Braunfels, Texas since 1987.

He is survived by his children, Dominic Bailey, Lino Bailey, Skyla Edwards, Summer Hancock; six grandchildren, four brothers, one sister, and dear friends Bill Lowman and Racheal Johnson.
