More detail on this person: Biggs, Richard passed away peacefully the morning of June 3, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Regina (Goffinet); daughter, Karen Willett (John); sons Richard J. (Carla), Michael, Brian (Elizabeth) and Alan (Jeanie). He had 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was retired after 23 years in the Army and, among his accomplishments in service, was part of the Occupational Force in Germany after World War II; was wounded in the Korean War; and flew helicopters in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Legion of Merit and Distinguished Flying Cross, and was a past commander of the VFW.
