More detail on this person: For your records MAJ. Bulliner did not serve in Vietnam. I was his roommate, classmate (Norwich University 1970), fellow medevac pilot and best friend until he was killed on 4 September1982. You should know that his not serving in Vietnam did not in any way diminish his innate courage and self-sacrifice. As the commander of the 571st Medical Detachment (HA) at Ft. Carson, CO at the time of his death, Dick was attempting to save the life of a fallen climber in Seven Mile Canyon. He is a credit to all medevac pilots who sacrifice their lives to save others. He was a great guy who is buried in Arlington Cemetery and who I still miss everyday.

From: LTC Christopher M. Siedor USA (Ret.), 57th Med Det (HA), RVN '71-72
