Father of Frances T. Bertrand and Jacquelyn Bertrand and their partners; brother of Nancy Moody and Kerry Bertrand; survived by a sister-in-law. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Paul was the son of the late Earl and Katherine (Killoran) Bertrand. He was a graduate of St Mary's High School in Lynn, attended Villanova University, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He had lived in Nahant since 1973. Paul enjoyed a 30 year career as a helicopter pilot in the United States Army, retiring as a Major. He was drafted and served two tours in Vietnam and Korea receiving several medals including the Bronze Medal during his time in the Army. After his retirement, he served as a Director for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant. Published by Boston Globe from Jul. 8 to Jul. 9, 2021.
