More detail on this person: ROGERS - Ben A. Byers, 89, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at his home. Ben was a former resident of Mansfield, Ark., a Retired Lieutenant Colonel Army Aviator, and a former Golf Pro.

Ben is survived by his daughter, Margo Jones and husband Neil of Witcherville, Ark.; son, Phil Byers and wife Marsha of Forrest City, Ark; grandchildren, Ben Byers of Little Rock, Ark., the Rev. Sheila Jones of West Memphis, Ark., Sondra Stewart and husband David of Witcherville, Ark.; greatgrandson, Ronin Stewart of Witcherville, Ark.; and a special friend and caregiver, Alma Young.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with the Rev. Sheila Jones and the Rev. Jackie Gregory oft ciating.

Interment was in the Coop Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield.

Pallbearers were Larry White, Floyd Coward, Mark Coward, Dr. Lyndon Tate, Ben Byers, and Royce Jones.
