More detail on this person: Clark A. Burnett (Col Ret.), age 90, passed away peacefully after a long illness, Monday, May 17, 2022. Col. Burnett was a longtime resident of Enterprise AL. Col. Burnett retired in 1985 as Director of Combat Developments at Fort Rucker AL after serving 32 years in the United States Army. His military awards and decorations included the Distinguished Service Medal, Silver Star, Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star Medal and the Air Medal. Col. Burnett was pre-deceased by his wife Barbara J. Burnett and daughter Debbie Stevenson. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Siegfried her husband Scott, grandson Michael, his wife Courtney, great grandson Cohen of MO and son in law Harry Stevenson of TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 23, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home Enterprise Chapel with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Dothan, AL.
