More detail on this person: As I was going
through John's files the other day, I found the
Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association post card.
I regret to inform you that John L. Boles,
(retired Lt. Col.) died on June 14, 2002. At the
time, I did not really think about what was
recognized on that day. The 14th was "Flag Day".
Every time we passed a U.S. Flag, John would say
"Isn't that beautiful". John served in the
military for 20 years and was a very patriotic
man. I miss him terribly. This information was last updated 05/18/2016

Wayne T. Boles (xxx-xx-4589) and John L Boles
(xxx-xx-4588) were twin brothers Born 10 October
1934, note the similiar SSNs.. They were from
Texas.
Both of them - Last known residences was Bella
Vista, Benton County, AR. John L. commanded a
company in the 159th in 1969.... Wayne T was as
listed CO of C/101.
