More detail on this person: Helicopter mid-air during training.On November 6, Robert T. Bailey, a potential VHPA member died in a helicopter accident. The directory shows he graduated with class 71-3/70-49. He was giving instruction in a Robinson R44 at the Torrance, CA municipal airport, and was involued in a midair with another helicopter. He and his student both perished. The NTSB as of this date not assigned a accident number.
