To those of us who had the honor of serving with
our fellow Outlaw in Vinh Long, Al Boniface was
the epitome of the professional aviator, always
steady and reliable, a calming voice in the chaos
of an insertion. Although I knew him only a few
short weeks before his DEROS, I knew him to be
the consummate professional Warrant Officer,
highly regarded by peers and by his commander,
who relied on Al to function as C&C in his stead.
