More detail on this person: JACKSON SPRINGS, NC - Retired Army Lt. Colonel Bernard L. Bottoms, 72, of Jack son Springs, died Saturday, February 16, 2008, at his home. Mr. Bottoms was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was pre ceded in death by his father, Lester M. Bottoms; his moth er, Mary Bottoms; his brother, L. M. Bottoms, Jr.; and his son, Robbie Bottoms. Mr. Bottoms is survived by his wife, Phyllis Bottoms; his brother, Ray Bottoms and his wife, Barbara of Pinehurst, NC; his daughter, Donna Wilkie of Leavenworth, KS; his daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bottoms of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; two granddaughters, Darla Saegers of Leaven worth, KS and Christina Bottoms of Ocean Isle Beach; and his grandson, Jacob Bottoms of Ocean Isle Beach. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 21st, at Page Mem oral United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. Burial with Military honors will follow at Pine lawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines. Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, NC, is in charge of arrangements.
