More detail on this person: My father died April 30th of a "arterial heart aneurysm" at the age
of 74. He lived in Newport News after retiring out of Ft. Eustis. Just a little bit about my
dad...he never really talked about Vietnam as we grew up but you knew the pride he carried knowing
he fought for his country as a young pilot. He was a awarded several times for his service including
2 purple hearts, distinguished flying cross, bronze star and flying medals with 16 oak leaf
clusters. What I'm trying to find out is when these were given and some of the events behind them.
Could you tell me how I might find out which Bandit number he was or his tail number. I saw there
was information on the 118th website for each crew.
