He was manager of the Copper Kitchen at the Southwest Arts and Crafts and an ARB member at the Bexar County Appraisal District. COL. Brown served his country proudly for more than 30 yrs. receiving the Legion of Merit (1st Oak Leaf Cluster) Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster) Air Medal- 4 Awards, Army Commendation Medal (1ST Oak Leaf Cluster) Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army of Occupational Medal, National Defense Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Vietnam Service and various other medals and awards. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise Amato. Raymond is survived by his wife of 10 years, Olivia Brown; children, Raymond Brown and wife Deborah of Dallas, TX, Robert Brown and wife Maria of San Antonio, TX, Russell Brown and wife Lori of San Antonio, TX, Cynthia Garcia and husband Fred of San Antonio, TX, Lydia Kain of San Antonio, TX and Leslie Levito and husband Mark of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Henry Brown and wife Sally of San Antonio, TX, Arthur Brown and wife Mary Louise of San Antonio, TX.
