More detail on this person: U.S. Army retired Maj. Robert L. Buckingham, 68, of Park Rapids, Minn., formerly of Leavenworth, died Thursday, Jan. 18 in Park Rapids following a valiant battle against cancer.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Park Rapids.

Survived by wife, Carol of Park Rapids; daughter, Brenda (Andy) Ehrmann, Frankfurt, Ind.; son, Bob (Kelli) Buckingham, Boise, Idaho; five grandchildren; and five sisters.
