WEATHERFORD -- Richard Leroy Burdick, 73, a retired pilot in the U.S. Army, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at his residence.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Burdick was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Enid, Okla., had been a resident of Weatherford several years and was a Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Jennye Burdick of Weatherford; sons, Mark McDaniel of Weatherford and David McDaniel of Burleson; grandchildren, Lauren, Brady Lane, Reagan and Juliean; sisters, Ruby Sparks of Enid, Okla. and Eva Bell McMasters of Ohio; brothers, Evert Burdick of Enid, Okla. and Harold Burdick of El Paso; brother-in-law, Reginal Henderson of Weatherford.
