Mr. Baker served in the U.S. Marines during WWII, & in Korea & Vietnam. He was a Pilot in the US Army & after 23 years service he retired as a Major/Army. Resided in Hemet last 7 years with wife, Phyllis. Born & raised in Paris, TX. Married Phyllis Lee Feb. 04, 1946 in Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by 3 daughters, Alanna Baker of Huntington Beach, Calif., Connie (Baker) Smith of West Valley, Utah, Lisa (Baker) Julio of So. Jordan, Utah; 2 Sons, Steven Baker of Colorado Springs, Colo., John Baker of South Jordan, Utah; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren. Mass Wed., 3/10/04, 11 a.m., Our Lady of the Valley Hemet. Graveside Service Riverside National Cemetery 3/10/04, Staging area #5, 1:01 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory, 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, Calif.
