More detail on this person: JESSE C. BROWN, 82 loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away May 16, 2006. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 9 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway Chapel. Burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Brown served for 23 years in the United States Army and served in WW II and Korea. He flew helicopters and fixed wing aircraft during combat. He was a former deacon of the Church of Christ. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 57 years, Essie; two sons Jesse Cliff Brown, Jr and his wife Jeanne of Bartlett, Gregory W. Brown of Memphis; and three grandchildren Greg and his wife Amber and Curtis. Memorials may be made in Jesse's honor to the Disabled American Veterans, 3680 S. Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN. 38115.
