John served proudly in the United States Marines and Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed traveling the world in addition to spending time with his family and friends. John is survived by his sons, John Richard Beran, Jr. and Truman Edward Beran, brother, Mark Mauz and sister, Mary Ann Allen. Graveside services for John will be held on June 30, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO 80236.
