More detail on this person: Our beloved Kenneth Conrow Barnes (80) born November 1, 1930 in Hebron, NE, died December 18, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Ken was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, soldier, friend and hero to so many who loved him. Retired U.S. Air Force Major Barnes was awarded the Silver Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and many other awards for heroism and outstanding airmanship in the Korean and Vietnam (459th 67-68) wars. He is remembered by his devoted wife Cecilia of Benson, AZ; and with his first wife Marylyn (deceased), he was the father of Ken (Barb), Don (Debbie), Mike (Shelly), and Scott Barnes, and Cyndi (Dave) Woods; brother of Donald Barnes, Lillys Barnes (deceased), Lloyd Barnes, Velma Barnes Willard (deceased), Margie Mohoric, and Nita Bergman, as well as several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He lives on in our hearts.
