More detail on this person: Maj. Richard Parke Barr, Jr. died December 17, 2009 in his San Antonio home. Richard "Rick" was born in Houston, Texas November 12, 1939. He grew up in Denver, Colorado. He served in the U.S. Air Force; was a collector and hobbyist and was devoted to his family. Richard leaves many friends. He leaves a son, Scott Christopher Barr, and daughter-in-law, Vanessa, daughter Anne Marie Barr Anderson and son-in-law, Matt, and four grandsons, Alex, Henry, Calvin and Walter. A memorial service and inurnment will be February 5, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Fort Sam National Cemetery.
