More detail on this person: Ed flew gunships in Vietnam. He was shot down and seriously injured
in the process of picking up the wounded, being the only one in the helicopter who survived. Ed
passed away March of 2010 due to prostrate cancer. This information was last updated 05/18/2016

While Ed was C.O. of VMGR-352, his squadron received the Squadron of the Year Award.
Ed retired from the Marines after a very distinguished career and took such a deep pride in being a
Marine Pilot.
