Services for Nelson E. Bell will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Killeen. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Bell was a retired Army aviator, serving from July 14, 1953, to June 30, 1975. His military awards include the Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Service Army Aviator Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with silver and bronze star, Good Conduct Medal, Air Medal with V Device and #28, Army Occupational Medal (Germany), Bronze Star with oak leaf cluster, Presidential Unit Citation and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with palm.

Survivors include his wife, Martha; sons, Kerry Bell, Perry Bell and his wife, Dafney; grandchildren, Warren Bell and Lauren Bell; brother, Gene Bell and his wife, Sanya, of Granbury; and a sister, Lois Bell of Decatur.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements
