More detail on this person: Mr. Francis John David Royds Bentley, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 3, 2018. John was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 13, 1940, and grew up in Orlean, Virginia. He was a graduate of Fessenden and Lawrenceville Schools, Duke University and received his Juris Doctorate from the Arizona State College of Law. John was commissioned a naval aviator in 1964, as a USMCR helicopter pilot serving his country in Vietnam. He and his family owned and operated the Snug Steak & Grill in 1992 until they sold it in 2015. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Kay Bentley; sons: Chris (Kristin) Bentley, Alex (Allie) Bentley and Colin Bentley; and grandchildren: Emma Bentley and David Bentley.
