More detail on this person: My father, James W. Birchfield was indeed a helicopter pilot during his first tour in Vietnam. His 2nd tour he flew the P2-V. Prior to that B-24's in WW II and C-119' s in Korean "Conflict". First Vietnam tour started February 65 to May 66. Flew out of Saigon with the 1st Cav Div. Next tour 1968-69 with 1st Radio Research Squadron. Thanks for mentioning him on your website.
