More detail on this person: ARANSAS PASS - William H. Barrett, a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam Wars, a retired helicopter pilot and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Rockport, died Aug. 16, 2000. He was 74.

Survivors include three sons, Richard and William Barrett, both of Houston, Thomas Barrett of Aransas Pass; a daughter, Valley Jenkins of Fairbanks, Alaska; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21 at Houston National Cemetery Chapel, Houston.
