More detail on this person: Retired U.S. Army
Capt. Ben H. Blizzard, 49, a 10-year resident of
Sunrise, died Thursday.
Captain Blizzard worked in S-2/3 (Intelligence and
Operations) in the 32d Signal Battalion (V Corps),
Hoechst, Germany, while I was there in 1970-71.
He was popular with us enlisted men -
no-nonsense, but friendly. He took me for my
first and only helicopter ride while we were out
in the field one time. One of my favorite
officers, for sure. From: Glenn Bogart
