More detail on this person: As late as December 6, 1975, Jimmie was a CW-4, Assistant Operations Officer, 178th ASHC (BOX CARS) at Henry Post AAF, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was the highest time Chinook Aviator in the U.S. ARMY. At the time, he was in the process of being medically retired for cataracts in both eyes. I left active duty at that time and I am not sure when he retired or what units of assignment he had in RVN. Based on information at www.chinookhelicopter.com he was an initial member of the 19th ASHC as it landed at Camp Humphrey, South Korea.
