More detail on this person: BOWERS, LELAND CRAIG, 48, of Pinellas Park, died Friday (April 7, 1995) at Tampa General Hospital. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., he was a visitor to Pinellas Park from Lindenhurst, Ill. He retired as an Army lieutenant colonel after 25 years and served in the Vietnam War, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Vicki; two sons, Robb C. and Cale P. Bowers, both of Springfield, Va.; a daughter, Kayce L. Bowers, Lindenhurst; his mother, Edith Bowers, Pinellas Park; and two sisters, Jacqueline Massey, Pinellas Park, and Suzanne Holocker, Tacoma, Wash. R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
