brother James Michale Breedlove; sister Sue E. Breedlove; two grandchildren.

David Kent Breedlove Sr., 53, died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, from injuries suffered in an automobile
accident. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born Aug. 7, 1945, in Indianapolis. His father was Homer K. Breedlove. His mother is Lois
(Burgett) Breedlove Groves of Greenwood. Other survivors include a son, David K. Breedlove Jr. of
Blackwell, Okla.; a daughter, Kathy Steenbergen of Lafayette; a brother, James Michael Breedlove of
Indianapolis; a sister, Sue E. Breedlove of Whiteland; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by a brother, Danny Paul Breedlove.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot, attaining the rank
of captain.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and
Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. Graveside
services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
