More detail on this person: Retired Army major Gary A. Browell, 46, of Mechanicsburg died Sunday in Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was a retired Army major, was a member of Everett United Church of Christ, and was a site manager for Man-Tech Support Services.

Surviving are his wife, Mary J. Browell; two sons, Christopher of State College, and Cory of Mechanicsburg; his mother, Mona C. Browell of Everett; two brothers, Richard E. of Duncannon, and Bernard J. of Houston and two sisters, Mona L. Hess of Crystal Spring, and Brenda Morgan of Raleigh, N.C.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church with Chaplain Carter Kerns officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Brethren Church Cemetery, Patesville.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Everett, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
