More detail on this person: Cowles, Mark Allen "Ozzie" MADISON - Mark Allen "Ozzie" Cowles, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006. He was born on April 27, 1948, in South Bend, Ind., the son of Warren and Betty (Rogers) Cowles. Ozzie served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot, and was honorably discharged as a Warrant Officer. After serving for one year in Vietnam, he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Army Commendation medal. Ozzie worked for Graber Corporation and retired from Datex-Ohmeda. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Ozzie is survived by his mother, Betty; two sisters, Marcia (Dean) Schoonover and Jane (Steve) Nobis; a niece; three nephews; an aunt; uncle; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EASTFUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006. Burial services will be held at Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N2665 Highway QQ, King, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2006.
