More detail on this person: Steve A. Conaway, 77 of Richland, WA., died at home on Feb.19, 2024. Born Oct. 25, 1946 in Santa Ana, CA. After Army service in 1970, Steve completed a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Cal State University Chico in 1972. He then began a 39 year career as a Commercial helicopter pilot experiencing many exotic and wonderful places. Steve is survived by his wife, Kathy, and twin brother, Greg. Steve and Greg flew together in the 1st CAV in 1969, Steve in 'hooks" and Greg in 'slicks'. On several occasions they found opportunities to give each other rides on missions.
