More detail on this person: Jim Curtis of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jimmy Virginia Murphy, his step-father Vincent DePaul Murphy and his father H. C. McGee. Jim was a Viet Nam Veteran serving as a gunship pilot in the 190th Assault Helicopter Company and later retired as an FAA Air Traffic Controller.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pattie Curtis of Pensacola, son Christopher Curtis (Naomi) granddaughters Kaya and Alia Curtis of Carmichael, CA, Craig Curtis (Mary) grandsons Devon and Graham Curtis of Columbus, OH.

No service will be held at this time, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior project of Florida or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
