More detail on this person: [OBITUARY] John R. Cooper ALLENTOWN - John R. Cooper, 66, of Allentown, NJ, passed away on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in Capital Health at Mercer. Born in Trenton, he was a longtime area resident. He attended Murray State University in Kentucky until he was called to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era as a Chief Warrant Officer/Medivac Helicopter Pilot. John was currently employed with AmerisourceBergen of Thorofare, NJ, as a retail account manager. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a member of the "Hamilton Township Hogs," as well as an avid American sportsman. Predeceased by his parents, John R. Cooper Sr. and Lucy Clara Cooper, he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marijane Cooper; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline and Daniel Sherlock of Virginia, Lucille and Robert Chorba of Hamilton, and Patti Martin and Jud Leckey of California; one brother, Vincent M. Cooper of Trenton; several uncles and an aunt; numerous cousins; nine nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday from the parish of St. Raphael-Holy Angels at Holy Angels Church, 1733 South Broad Street, Trenton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ
